I was just wandering around the net with nothing to really to when I realized that I hadn't posted here yet today. So I got to thinking about what could post on when I had a marvelous idea I could come up with a list of my top used Linux applications. So I started think and while thinking I went back to surfing and found a really cool link and started reading it and totally forgot about making my post. Well now I finally remembered and have just decided to make a basic list now and do featurettes on each of the programs individually over the next few days.
1. Firefox
2. Compiz
3. Deluge
4. Smplayer
5. Amarok

3. It promotes sharing. (unless you consider proliferating viruses sharing)
4. It has more features. (unless you count viruses as features)
5. Up to date full fledged releases. (again unless you count viruses)
